The Fund for Youth Connectivity (FYC) seeks to help roughly 250 opportunity youth get access to new mobile devices, connectivity, and gain new skills to use these devices to amplify their own voices so that the ripple effects of this relatively modest number of youth may help to better the lives of many more opportunity youth across the United States. The Fund for Youth Connectivity will utilize the Aspen Forum for Community Solutions’ network of 24 OYIF sites across the country, and our partnership with Opportunity Youth United to accomplish this project.
Applicants to the Fund for Youth Connectivity must be one of the 24 OYIF sites. The Fund for Youth Connectivity award amounts will not exceed $70,000, the large majority of which will be dedicated to mobile devices, connectivity and media partners. One time grants will be submitted September 7th and payment will be received no later than October 20th.
Proposals are due by electronic submission to firstname.lastname@example.org no later than 3:00 PM EST, Thursday, August 31, 2017.
